Common Mindsets that are holding you back from success.

Personal goals come in every sector of life, some are life changing and deeply personal such as health and fitness goals, financial and job related goals. While others might look on a smaller scale but if adopted will lead you to a happier and successful life. To mention a few, goals can vary from prioritising sleep, practising positivism and keeping up with long, lost friends.

Whatever is the goal, if you dream and aspire about it, then it is your wish to be able to practice it.  Throughout the years, I found out that some common factors hold many persons back from achieving what they dream, so I am taking this opportunity to list these issues with you and how to overcome them.

Here they go:

a. Waiting for the perfect day to start.

Do not wait for the perfect day or moment, just set a date and time and do your utmost to be physically and mentally committed to your goal.

b. An all or nothing mindset.

If you set a time frame of an hour for your goal however, if on a particular day you will only manage to practice your goal for 20 minutes, do not waste those 20 minutes by saying that you don't have enough time. Every minute counts and every moment is helping you get closer to your goal. Do your best and the universe will do the rest.

c. Perfectionist mindset.

This has to do with the previous issue, I like to call it insecurity sealed with lipstick. Do not try to be perfect, remember that practice makes perfect and by avoiding something because you are scared you are going to do a mistake will not help you get any closer to your goal.

d. Set reasonable expectations.

Do your study and research about your goals, do not set something incredibly hard to achieve, instead if you have a huge project or goal, divide it into small milestones. Celebrate each achieved milestone.

e. Self doubt.

This is the toughest one to overcome, do not allow your insecurity to hold you back by making yourself believe that you are not capable to achieve your goal. The body achieves what the mind believes, so positive thinking and self trust will help you go much further than you imagine.

If you experienced some of the above mentioned problems, we love to hear from you, tell us how you are dealing with these issues or how you overcame your insecurities. By sharing your experiences you never know who you are inspiring! So lets empower and inspire each other as much as possible, the world needs more of this !❤
