Fitness is a lifestyle
This week through our meet and greet section we are going to meet a bodybuilding passionate and Maltese athlete Clint Magri.
Most probably if you meet him at his full time job as a security, dressed up in a dark suit you wouldn't think that after his duty he has time to go to workout every day however he doesn't miss a single day from his rigourous training schedule. As we were talking, we could immediately tell how much bodybuilding is important to him as well how much he admires Flex Wheeler.
Clint started lifting way back in 2011, competed 3 times in 2015/2016 with Malta' s bodybuilding federations IFBB and NABBA and kept his motivation to improve each year. So if you are thinking to join a gym but don't know where to start he is the guy for you. Clint offers training sessions which are ideal for different types of persons, by creating personal training sessions and staying in contact with you to help you stay motivated and make lifting part of your lifestyle.
While we were discussing about the sports itself, we immediately observed how much effort and attention he puts into his diet by eating the right food and keeping the right portion. We managed to get a tip of what he eats before training so that he can lift heavy, a good portion of red meet or salmon and potato are what he uses to fuel his workouts. As Balanced Bites, we like to promote athletes who not only put effort in the gym but also in the kitchen.
We ended up our meet up, by asking Clint to put up a few exercises he recommends if you want to built up lean muscle. We were glad he made sure to put exercises including different body parts. So follow the video below and you get a great idea how much effort he puts in this sports.
As a final task we asked Clint to send a message to all our followers who are thinking to start getting healthier.
"My message to those who wish to start this journey is to never think it's too late. Bodybuilding not only helps you physically but builds you a strong character. Although, a diet plan sometimes may seem tough, just think of your goals and never give up. Remember always love what you do and enjoy your journey."
Thank you Clint for your time and for sharing with us your healthy tips. We wish you the best of luck in your carrier as a Maltese athlete.
